Accessorise Your Home
Brighten up your home by adding a few new items without breaking the bank on a full refurbishment. Quite often, we tire of looking at the same things all the time and we get fed up to the point where you think you need to redecorate. But before you go mad, try changing a few items, like vases, photo frames, candles. It's amazing the difference it will make. We're a fan of keeping walls white (or neutral) and adding colour with cushions, rugs and other soft furnishings. We've done some shopping and picked out our favourites:
A vase is always a good idea to accessorise your home, particularly when it is a statement piece like the one above, which doesn't always need to have flowers in it. It stands on it's own beautifully, when not in use.
You can never have enough candles sitting around your home. A scented one will add a gorgeous smell as well as looking very pretty and sensual. These work in any room.
We are loving these decorative bowls as an alternative to vases, either just on their own, with some pot pourri or even a few sweets (bad habit, I know but fine around the festive season) or as in the picture above with a few rustic looking flowers.
When you are keeping your rooms looking white/neutral and minimalist, a pop of colour in the form of a cushion looks fabulous. This is when you can get away with a bright vibrant print like the Liberty one above.
Don't hide towels away in a cupboard, roll them and place them in a basket to create a feature piece in your bathroom. Guests won't have to come and ask you for spare towels.
Ok, don't panic! We don't expect you to buy this mirror (it would be cheaper to refurbish a few rooms in your house!) but hell this is one good looking mirror! This is to give you an idea of what you can do with space on your wall. If you don't have a budget, what are you waiting for?!
These display tray seems unnecessary. Just set your perfume/aftershave on the shelf, worktop. But they look so cool and sexy. And you can through those little bits that get left lying around, like cufflinks, hair clips etc. and they all of a sudden look like they have been purposely placed there.
A modern take on an ornament! That's it! No purpose, except looking good and creating a talking point when you have guests. A creative piece of luxury.
These candle holders are beautiful when a lighted candle is inside. The way it reflects of the glass and gold gives for a very seductive ambience. They look good on a sideboard in your living room, or on the hearth of a fire place or even as a centre piece on a kitchen table.
This high end trinket box will steal the show with its finely polished horn and wood, and lacquered ivory gloss finish. Special items are going into this!
