Friday Music Pick - Marina Morgan

'Paralyzed', the debut single by inspiring artist Marina Morgan, who has overcome her own personal obstacles to release this song in order to bring awareness of Lyme Disease, which she is suffering from and which inspired her to write this song.

The disease has left her walking with a cane, oesophagus issues, extreme fatigue, many neurological problems, as well as loss of vision in one eye, which came back after months of IV therapy. She also suffered another debilitating disease when she was younger, which left her wheelchair bound and having to learn how to walk again at thirteen. Marina wanted to show people that no matter what their circumstances, they can achieve their dreams. Lyme Disease is deemed the “lonely disease” and that is why she wants to use her voice as a platform to bring attention to the disease and bring comfort to anyone who is feeling isolated.

She recently featured as national radio host "Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month" in America and preformed this single on NBC the “TODAY” show. On April 1, 2017 Marina Morgan will be honoured and receiving the "Starlight" Award by the Global Alliance at their "Time for Lyme Gala" for writing "Paralyzed" and helping to spread some light on this very debilitating illness.
