Holiday Guide: Caribbean Kids Club
Trying to plan a holiday for the whole family can be quite a headache as you are trying to please everyone. While all you want is to lie back on a sun lounger on the beach with a cocktail in your hand, your seven year old wants to be entertained and your fourteen year old is a maturing adolescent who wants independence and new experiences.
Virgin Holidays has come up with three Caribbean destinations that won't compromise anyones holiday and the whole family can have the luxury and pure indulgence that you all desire. You'll be the best parents ever!
The Moon Palace Resort in Mexico understands that for the grown-ups to have the holiday of their dreams, the kids need to be doing the same and so their kids club offers an abundance of entertainment for four to twelve year olds from 8am to 10pm each day. There's a fashion room complete with runway, Xbox room, outdoor areas and a movie theatre with a snack stand for the kids. Teens can get involved in beach soccer, pool volleyball and FlowRider (a surfing simulator). All while Mum and Dad chill out and linger over lunch.
Half Moon Villas in Montego Bay, Jamaica has the VILPS (Very Important Little Person Service) which offers the younger ones a welcome drink, special gift and personal introduction to the resort. They'll be spending all their time at the Anancy Children's Village which offers lots of activities. And for teens, they will be heading to the Hype Zone with its games room and club nights. Half Moon Villas has been the location for movie stars and royalty to holiday for over 50 years. The villas have their own personal cook, butler and housekeeper to make sure you have everything you need.
Carlisle Bay in Antigua is surrounded by lush green rainforest, soft white sand and breathtaking turquoise waters. Adults can enjoy the spa, sunset drinks on the romantic jetty and choice of restaurant. Younger kids can enjoy the kids club which includes pool, jungle gym and turtle watching while older kids can get involved in lizard hunting and treasure hunts, movies or even hit the spa for its teen menu.
All of these holidays offers activities that the family can also do together, we don't expect you to spend all your time apart.
