Beauty Tips: Complexion Products
As a rule, when it comes to complexion products, very young skin should only be using a tinted moisturiser or similar product. Young skin is beautiful and naturally youthful (trust me, when you hit your 30s, you will be doing everything in your power to have skin like this) so it doesn't need to be covered up. Let your gorgeous glowing skin shine through. Remember that you are trying to even out your skin tone with your complexion product and so it should be the same colour as your skin, not darker (that's what bronzer is for). And you are not trying to cover spots and other marks with your tinted moisturiser, this is what concealer is for. Don't wear a heavy foundation at your age, your skin is too beautiful!
Older skin, on the other hand, will benefit from using a heavier foundation to cover up redness, ruddiness, pigmentation and generally other ageing areas of concern. Unfortunately, here we are having to cheat a youthful glowing look, which can be done if you get the right product for you.
Everyone else in between, well the world of foundation is your oyster. You can pick and choose what you want to wear to suit your needs. Whatever you choose, make sure it is the right colour, finish (oily types need a mattifying one and drier types needs a moisturising luminous one) and covers what it needs to but not what should be shining through (freckles, flushness).
