The Elemis Exotic Frangipani Monoi Collection

A few years ago I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a gorgeous body treatment in a hotel spa. It was the Elemis Lime & Ginger Salt Glow which is an exotic exfoliation ritual to invigorate and revitalise the body. Your skin is deeply cleansed, polished and softened to perfection leaving the skin glowing and vibrant, replenished and flawless. The scent floating around the room was pure heaven. It sent me into a bit of a trans to be honest. I don't usually fall for the whole product pushing jargon that the therapists uses on you (we all know that they make commission on selling products) but in this case I actually asked her about the products before she had the chance to practice her selling techniques on me. So, I walked away from my treatment totally invigorated and with a new body lotion - the Elemis Lime & Ginger. I absolutely love this fragrance. But I'm sure you're wondering why I am talking about Lime & Ginger when the product above is Frangipani.

Well, to cut a long story short (which I didn't really do here, did I?!) they discontinued the Lime & Ginger body lotion, although they still have the Lime & Ginger Salt Glow Scrub. When I eventually got over this, I decided to try another fragrance from the Elemis range, so impressed that I was with the actual product (as well as the smell). The Elemis Exotic Frangipani collection was the most obvious choice as it was popping up everywhere, getting great reviews and even winning awards.

Firstly, the body cream itself is the most luxurious formula, deeply nourishing to leave your skin so silky smooth and I promise you will be able to step into your clothes five minutes later and I also promise you that you will still be smelling the scent by the end of the day. It is enriched with Macadamia Oil and lipid-rich Sesame Oil and fragranced with Frangipani Flowers to give the most delicate scent. The exotic of the Frangipani flowers is known to restore peace and harmony.

Elemis is also a brand I tend to look to quite often when I am buying a present, particularly for my Mum, who loves her baths. I like to buy presents for people that I know they will not buy for themselves and I often find this to be the case in the bodycare department. Most people will spend money on makeup and hair products and will even treat themselves to an expensive perfume but when it comes to body products, it's more difficult to part with your money. However, if you buy someone an Elemis body collection gift, you will find it will be money well spend, both for you and for them going forward. A truly indulgent gift for yourself or someone else.

The body cream is £26 but the set above is brilliant value at £67 (worth £94) and includes the Exotic Frangipani Monoi Shower cream, Body Oil and Salt Glow Body Scrub.
