Netflix Movie Release - Mute

Welcome to Berlin 2052 - where dreams come true and man comes undone.

A new Netflix Original Film has been released today and unlike cinema movies, you don't have to wait for months before you can watch it from the comfort of your own home. If Netflix release it today, then today is when you will watch it (provided you have Netflix of course)!

Directed by Duncan Jones and starring Alexander Skarsgård, Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux, Mute is a sci-fi movie set in a 2052 dystopian Berlin. Leo (played by Skarsgård) is a bartender who, following a childhood accident, is unable to talk. While searching for his missing girlfriend, who disappeared mysteriously, he finds himself embroiled in the city's criminal underworld. In this criminal underbelly, Cactus Bill and Duck (played by Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux) work as surgeons for a group of gangsters. This way of life for the two surgeons becomes threatened when they begin mixing with the mute bartender.

The film has been described by Jones as a "spiritual sequel" to his 2009 film Moon. Watch the trailer below:
