Tadashi Shoji AW18 Collection

Tadashi Shoji showed off his Autumn Winter '18 collection at New York Fashion Week. The American-based Japanese fashion designer is known for his red carpet and evening gowns. So, it comes as no surprise that this collection showcased 35 dresses out of a collection of 37 pieces.

A collection of classic dresses of varying lengths, textures and colours, utterly stunning. This line speaks high volumes of the modern sexy and empowered woman who has the strength and confidence to wear clothes that are designed for the female body, a sentiment that wasn't lost on most in the current climate. It would be difficult for any women to not choose a dress from this collection. Deep blues, greens and pinks are colours that stood out on the catwalk.

Whilst many designers like to throw in a few 'only for the catwalk' pieces, this 'ready-to-wear' collection from Tadashi Shoji is just that. All pieces are truly wearable and transferable to real life, if you are going somewhere special that is, given its evening wear status.
