River Island #labelsareforclothes

River Island are currently running one of the best campaigns we have ever seen #labelsareforclothes. People are so tired of being labelled for the colour of their skin, their religion, their race, their sexual preferences, their social class. This list could go on because for some reason we are obsessed with pigeon-holing people. There is one thing that we all have in common and that is we are all human. It needn't go any further than that. Which is why we are protesting on the grounds of labelling, a very dangerous habit that needs to be broken. I'm sure you've all seen the campaign by now but as a gentle reminder to get behind #labelsareforclothes......

River Island are celebrating their 30th birthday this spring and to celebrate they are promoting a people positive campaign and so they're spinning tired stereotypes on their head and reclaiming labels to make them positive and truly REAL! To do this they have teamed up with anti-bullying charity Ditch the Label to create a range of empowerment t-shirts and sweats. £3 from every sale, plus an extra £1* for every social share using #LABELSAREFORCLOTHES goes directly to DTL.

It's pretty cool to wear these t-shirts and sweatshirts for more reason than one:
