Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster For Face

I've been on holiday a couple times during the summer and have caught many sun rays in the back garden due to the glorious weather we have been having here in the UK. So, I have managed to achieve a nice even tan on my body (carefully with SPF30, of course!). But I always keep my face out of the sun and well protected. It has picked up a little colour from just walking about and that but it is well behind the colour of my body, which is somewhat annoying. Especially during the day when I don't want to wear a lot of makeup but obviously I need to even things up. When I'm putting on lots of makeup and bronzer etc., I can manage a good enough job of matching my face to my body but daytime can be a little tricky. It's been too hot to wear a lot of makeup.

So, I was on the hunt for a self tanner for my face. Many years ago I used self tanning lotions for the face but I didn't particular rate them well and quite often they caused breakouts. So I parked these for many years and never thought to give them a go again, until recently. As with most beauty products, science gets better and formulas more superior than before.

I didn't particularly want a separate product to add to my routine, more layers and all that. And I'm so happy with my current skincare routine that I didn't want to upset it. So I wanted one of those self-tanning drops that I could add to my moisturiser. After a bit of research, I settled on trying the Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster for Face. Two or three drops, depending on how pale or how tanned you want to be, mixed with your moisturiser (or serum if you prefer) produces a beautiful natural tan look. Repeat this for a couple of nights until you achieve the desired level of tan. Then top up every couple of days to keep you looking this way. I'm so impressed with this product. And the beauty of it is you can use it all year long, even in the winter when you're all covered up and don't need to worry about matching a tan body to a tan face, you can just glow like you caught some winter sun in the Caribbean (no-one needs to see your arms)! If you are a false tan junkie and wear it all year round on your body, then this is a perfect product to apply on your face, without causing any irritation or break outs that body self tanners can cause on the face.

The Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster for Face sets your base colour ready for the rest of your makeup. I will still add a little bit of bronzer to create that extra sun kissed glow. It's £20 at Clarins.
