Victoria Beckham x Reebok

Victoria Beckham has teamed up with Reebok for her latest collaboration, her previous one being with Estee Lauder makeup brand. This time she is back to the world of fashion, sportswear specifically.

Reebok's ambassador Shaquille O'Neal, who inspired the collection, and Beckham have teased us for some months now as they posed for photos wearing t-shirts with the famous basketball players jersey number, 34. Victoria Beckham has always designed her ranges with women's comfort and empowerment at the forefront. This collaboration is her first unisex collection, consisting off t-shirts, hoodies and socks. She has made a dent into the outlook of women's sportswear being as strong as mens sportswear.

My Merch Collection has landed! For me this capsule really represents a celebration of the 90’s, Reebok and Shaq’s shared history in basketball, and the great heritage pieces I discovered in the Reebok Archives. The unisex approach, and the nods to streetwear that are present in this capsule, are important elements that I will take through to the full collection I am currently working on.

With mainly a monochrome colour palette, and the odd hint of red and orange, the collection is minimal in style, with the VB logo taking an understated position on the sleeve. Check out the range at victoriabeckham.com or pop into her Dover Street store if you find yourself in London. Don't expect to find a price tag that is unaffordable either, prices range from £40 (for the socks, admittedly), £110 for the t-shirts, to £160 for the hoodies. Not too bad for a VB piece!
