First Look At Rihanna's Fenty Collection Shown In Paris

Rihanna has just launched her first label, Fenty. Developed with LVMH, the collection is designed for all women based on her own style. It was obvious from the outset that Rihanna was going to create a collection that could be worn by real women, women with curves and cinched in waists. And that’s what we got!

One of the reasons for her success in the beauty world and her lingerie collaboration with Savage has been her ability to create a diverse range of products to include all sizes and races, something that many brands fail to accommodate.

LVMH own many of the top high end fashion brands including Christian Dior, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Fendi and Marc Jacobs. And just to put this into perspective, LVMH has not launched a fashion brand since Christian Lacroix in 1987. Rihanna has also made history by becoming the first woman to launch a brand with the luxury conglomerate.

Fenty features neutral tailoring with a cinched waist silhouette and well defined denim pieces, the kind you would expect to see the star wearing herself. Oversized sunglasses are among her accessories collection with knock-out sandals for ‘special’ occasions.

Rihanna has had much positive feedback on her debut collection, not least from her colleagues in the music industry, DJ Khaled and Snoop Dogg to name two.

Vogue Paris met her in Paris at the official launch to ask her the questions on everyone’s lips and of course to get a closer look at the clothes themselves. Watch the video below:
